Create a Vision For 2022

have a vision quote of the day the motivation bug

Are you ready for this new year?

Even though 2021, was a little bit better than 2020, a lot still happened this year.

From the many different variants of COVID that arose to a lot of weird natural disasters happening, I cannot wait for this year to end.

Now is the perfect time to remember all the good that came from 2021 so that you can bring those positive memories and feelings into 2022.

In this blog post, there will be a couple of exercises I want you to complete as you reflect on this past year and plan for this new one.

Exercise #1: Old Year Reflection

As you reflect upon this past year, I have 7 questions for you to answer and meditate on as you think back to all of the positive things that have happened to you.

  1. What are your favorite memories of 2021?
  2. What goals were you able to achieve in this past year?
  3. What new things were you able to experience in 2021?
  4. What are some valuable life lessons you’ve learned from this past year that you will bring with you into the new year?
  5. In what ways has this year made you stronger?
  6. What did you see either on TV or while you were out and about that put a smile on your face?
  7. How do you plan to make 2022 better than 2021?

For me, a lot has happened in 2021.

From moving to a new state to starting a new relationship, a lot of exciting things have happened to me this year as well as a lot of stressful things too.

I am definitely looking forward to 2022.

Your Vision For The New Year: Goal Setting

A new year is quickly approaching.

Are there any specific goals you hope to achieve in this upcoming year?

If so, what are they?

Exercise #2: Make a List of Goals

In this exercise, I want you to make a list of all of the goals you want to achieve in 2022.

By doing this, you will be able to see on paper how many goals you have and be able to put a game plan together at achieving each one this year.

So take out a pen and a piece of paper and start writing!

Exercise #3: Creating a Vision Board

Now that you have your list of goals, this is the perfect time to create what is known as a vision board.

Vision boards help you to take your goals from your mind and make them tangible by projecting them onto a board.

Here are some examples of visions boards I have created throughout the years.

Are you ready to create a vision board of your own?

Let’s make one together.

Here is what you will need in order to create your vision board for 2022:

Do you have all of your materials ready to go?

Here is how you will create your new vision board.

Step 1

Rearrange your magazine cut-outs onto your board into the design that you want.

Step 2

Once you finish rearranging your pieces into the design that you like, then and ONLY THEN, glue everything down.

Step 3

Once everything is dry, place your new vision board in your room, in your closet, pretty much anywhere that will allow you to see it every single day and be able to reflect on it.

And that’s it!

Super simple.

Keep in mind, that when it comes to creating your vision board, there is no one size fits all.

Your board can be as big or as small as you want it to be.

Get creative with it.

You could make a mini-board and keep in on your desk.

The possibilities are endless since it is your vision.

As long as you put all your goals for this new year onto your board, that is all that matters.

Customize it in a way that will help you stay motivated and inspired in this new year.

My Vision For 2022

There is a lot I would like to happen for this new year.

From my business expanding and growing, to traveling more, I want to make sure that I live each day that I have to the fullest.

I want to definitely laugh more and smile more this year as well as for it to be less stressful.

I will also be focusing a lot more on self love and self care in this upcoming year as I learn to appreciate myself more and as well as learn the value of ‘me time’.

I also want to learn how to see myself in a better light than I have.

Ending on a Positive Note

I hope these exercises have helped you to not only prepare for this brand, new year that is coming up very quickly but to also help you to remember some of the good that came out of this past year.

From your personal growth to new positive experiences that you wouldn’t have experienced otherwise, I hope you leave 2021 happy, resolved, and at peace.

Another yearly chapter in your life is coming to an end and a new one will be beginning very soon.

I truly hope you take this time to prepare.

As we all head into the new year, I hope that you are ready for what 2022 has to offer you and I pray that this new year is way better than the last.

Happy New Year!
